Caroline Lewallen is our guest demonstrator in April and will be demonstrating a beautiful Still Life in soft pastel.

Caroline won a Highly Commended last year at our 37th Annual Exhibition for her magnificent Still Life painting Beauty is Timeless. Through her pastel paintings she aims to take everyday scenes, that we pass by without consideration, and show her audience how there can be such beauty in the mundane that we often take for granted.

Caroline hopes to enable others to see the world as she does, taking time to see beauty in the familiar. Degas is known to have said “art is not what you see but what you make others see”.

For those attending the meeting at 'The Lounge' at the Community Centre in Mount Waverley, your options are:
